Fields of activity:
The PHSG is a scientific university that contributes through research, teaching, further education and the promotion of
young researchers to the further development of especially the education-related sciences. To its core profile belong the teacher training (studies) on different school levels. To its
scientific profile belong further fields like e.g. health promotion, childhood education, MINT promotion, intercultural education. The implementation of the project is done by the Institute for
Education, Profession and Technology (IBBT) which deals with questions of linking general education and VET. The main aspects of its research work are e.g. vocational orientation and preparation,
initial vocational training in schools and companies as well as investigations on the changes in the working world.
